Wood and steel appear to be made for each other. Good design is all that is needed to bring out their special qualities. 

Wood is a warm material with its own character and ever-changing colours, which give each piece of furniture its unique quality. Wood is a living thing which breathes and reacts to climatic changes.

Combined with cool and elegant steel, which reflects light and is hard-wearing, a combination worthy of admiration comes into being. It is the combination of two contrasting elements which attract and complement each other, captivating the beholder.

An oil finish treatment enhances the natural beauty of the wood bringing out the different grains and shades with a warm, soft matte look. Oil provides long-lasting protection against moisture and wear with minimal maintenance. Unlike other finishes, it allows the wood to breathe, whilst being environmentally friendly and easy to maintain with simple touch-ups.

In RINGS I combine wood and metal legs for strength and lightness. The concentric rubber circles beautifully enhance the round shape of the coffee tables.

The RAYAS COLLECTION a clear sideboard collection in wood and rubber, a combination of two complementary and natural materials. The modules are visually identical, their function, either drawers or doors.

The idea of using an emblematic ‘X’ to stabilize the structure enables the X-shelf to stay simple and elegant while remaining structurally strong. Two identical sides allow the X-shelf to be used either against a wall or as a unique space divider. Created as a quick-fit flat pack the X-shelf is easy to assemble, move and use for different purposes. Designed for Artisan.

The “RUBBER SOUL CHAIR” combines solid wood and rubber to produce a chair of maximum comfort and flexibility. 
The wooden frame gives the chair strength and reliability, while the rubber strips used in the back and under the seat, make it light and flexible. The rubber used in the manufacturing is recycled from disused factory lines.

For the TABLAS COLLECTION, I was inspired by slats windows louvers and the exterior wooden walls of old houses. This collection combines clean lines and functionality to produce chest of drawers and side boards of different sizes. My intention is to reveal the natural beauty of the solid wood in which each piece is created with the utmost simplicity.

BANCO ZEBRA can be used with or without its back. The idea was to design a bench that, with the backrest down, could disappear completely under the Zebra Table. Using my patented mechanism, Banco Zebra can do it easily To pull out the backrest, simply stand behind the bench and pull it out until it snaps into place.

This multi-storage shelving is a practical and efficient self-supporting stack-system, designed to give flexibility of choice to match the needs of the user. The system consists of two essential elements: the shelves and the “eles”. The shelves come in fixed dimensions while the “eles” are ‘L’ shaped and designed in different heights.

Solid appearance: the tabletop is supported by two U-shaped legs, which are fixed with six visible screws. The screws not only make the table easy to assemble, they are also an eye-catching feature on BOCK’s smooth surface.
